Painted a Zany Picture

I painted a zany picture and I gave it to me daughter. She said she loved it. I enjoy giving my art to anyone who really likes it. I don't have much talent, but I like to do fun pictures.

Apple Picking Today

A fun afternoon apple picking . New England is lovely in the fall. Lots of kids picking apples off the trees.   A lovely fall Sunday in Rhode Island.

First Class Today was a Success

I ran my first library class today and there were 15 people who attended. I am teaching writing and today it was life story writing. I enjoyed teaching and then came home and enjoyed a nice long nap.

My classes at two libraries are now full

I start to teach at two libraries and both programs are now filled. I do still enjoy my teaching. Today I did some painting and then saw a movie at the library.

Waiting for Home Service

I have booked Home Service several times and each time they were booked,  they did not call to cancel and failed to arrive on time. Perhaps they should be renamed No Service. It seems they need to review their policy since so far it is not working well.

Fancy Nancy Says: They are supposed to compensate me for my waiting time. We will see if it happens.

It pays to dispute a bill

Worked on getting a corrected bill from the town. I had a water leak in a pipe and by saving the bill I was able to get my sewer bill corrected as well. It pays to dispute a bill when you think it is wrong. Always do you work in writing , date it and sign it. That is far better than trying to get things done by phone.

Rupert does a New Trick

Enjoyed a visit from my grand dog Rupert who now does a new trick. If you hide a treat for him and close both hands, he will point with his paw at the hand that has the treat. He is usually correct. What a smart dog. Rupert leads a great life with many weekends at the beach. Not a bad dog's life.
