I had cataracts removed the end of 2013 I think. I had a great doctor and wow! What a difference! We had some linoleum in the bathroom that looked like gravel - little rocks, big rocks, arrowhead thingys... There was nothing special about it until I came home with my first cataract removal. Suddenly the gravel seemed to jump up at me and I had trouble keeping my balance. In a couple of days, though, it looked flat again. Having the surgery is scary, but no big deal once they get down to it. You get some meds that make you sleepy and next thing you know you're having breakfast and coffee and ready to go home. Fabulous!!
